ABOUT
Santiago Sposto is a music producer, songwriter, and engineer, and a graduate of the Escuela de Música Contemporánea in Buenos Aires (Berklee Global Partner). With more than 10 years of experience, his work is rooted in modern and organic pop universe, while extending across any genre where melody, vocals, and emotional storytelling are at the center.
He began his professional career in 2015, performing live, teaching vocal technique, and developing his own project as a singer-songwriter. He released the EP Lo Real e Imaginario in 2016, followed by the album Fragmentos de lo Azul in 2019. During the same period, he expanded into audio post-production for advertising, contributing to more than 80 television commercials broadcast throughout Latin America for international brands including Marvel and Mattel. Working across music, advertising, and post-production gave him an early foundation in recording, editing, sound design, and production, while allowing him to move comfortably between different creative environments.
In 2021, after relocating to Mexico, Santiago was awarded a scholarship to study Music Composition at the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico (SACM), where he studied alongside some of the most recognized songwriters in the Latin music industry, including two-time Latin Grammy winner Mónica Vélez and Carlos Law.
Based in Mexico City, he went on to collaborate with artists signed to Warner , Sony , and Universal Music, including MARLLA, Ale Zéguer, Andrés Chano, ANASOF, and Paula Arenas. He also continued writing and producing original music for advertising and visual media, working on projects for brands under the Unilever umbrella.
Among his songwriting credits is “Roto,” co-written with MARLLA and featured on the soundtrack of Todas Menos Tú, one of the most-viewed movies in Mexico in 2024 and now available on Apple TV.
Since relocating to New York in 2025 as an O-1 artist, Santiago has continued expanding his work across songwriting, production, recording, and live sound. Based in Brooklyn, he currently works as a sound engineer for live performances at Faena New York, while collaborating with artists and creative teams throughout the city and beyond. His work across both the creative and technical sides of music has led to memberships in the Recording Academy, the Latin Recording Academy, the Society of Composers & Lyricists, and the Audio Engineering Society.
Santiago was later granted U.S. permanent residency in recognition of his work in music. Today, he continues to develop his career working at the intersection of songwriting, production, recording, and sound, with a particular interest in creating music that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to the song itself.
